Kashi

I have a morning routine. Brenda loves to tell people about it. In essence it involves the bathroom (who doesn't use the bathroom when they wake up? I thinkit is instinct or something), my gray sweatshirt, a bowl of cereal, and my laptop. A couple of weeks ago, six or so if we are counting, I stumbled upon a site that sent out free Kashi bars. Brenda and I ordered different kinds of course.

After an agonizing few weeks I got an email finally letting me know that my package had shipped. Free Kashi bars were on the way! For days I hung around the post office. It's a pretty cool place, I guess. Lots of mail. Lots of students.

My waiting paid off this afternoon. Just check out the picture and tell me you didn't laugh. At the height of my anticipation I peaked into my mail slot and found a little orange box. Ummm....?

Of all of the stupid things I have done in my life, ordering free Kashi bars off the internet and expecting a full-sized box of them is one of them. So now I'm treasuring my single Kashi bar - saving it for a day that I really need a dose of healthy, granola goodness. It will taste better knowing it was free.
