Heading Out

I don't think that I will ever fully understand why God cares about some of the things that he does.
As I was preparing for this incredible adventure earlier this week, I came the to conclusion that my wallet is simply to fat to be practical in an airport or on the streets of some foreign city. My mom and I dug through our drawers and sifted through old bags and purses in the basement, but, to my dismay, we found nothing. I told her, "I will see if Laura, or Anne has an old one I can borrow." Anne probably has about twenty.
I put it out of my mind and the next day headed in for my last day of work. I have been working for Carol Erke ever since Java switched owners and it has been so wonderful. Anyone want to hazard a guess at what I found waiting for me on the table?
A slim red billfold. Large enough to fit my passport snugly, but thin enough to slide into my carry on without adding any bulk. It was perfect and as I drove home I sat in awe of our God who cares about me and my billfold.
