Landing in Romania

Well, in the words of Talissa, "Travel took freaking long".  We left Tremont at 12pm Monday, and finally arrived in Satu Mare around 2:30am Wednesday morning.  Needless to say we were gross and tired and way past ready to collapse into our wonderful beds.  We didn't have any trouble with the travel at all; thank you for all of your prayers!   God is good.  

It has been to great to see many old friends, and to be back in Romania.  We really love it here.  Today Nico (who is staying with us.  She is awesome) took me and Talissa out to exchange some money and buy some groceries.  On the way home she let us try to find the way on our own.  We were pretty close...but she ended up having to direct us.  Hopefully we will get it down soon.  

We are also working on our Romanian.  We have an agreement with Nico, who is excited to work on her English.  We can only talk to her in Romanian and she can only talk to us in English.  However, if we stuck to the agreement all we would ever be able to say to her is "thank you" and "would you like to eat something?" I don't think it will last long.  

There is little else to report.  We are trying to get ready for camp.  Tomorrow we will meet with some people from Baia Mare who are helping to lead the camp and we will hopefully get a lot done.  We've talked with Nico about the camp and how it will be very different from other years, but we are all excited and believe that God will work in the kids and the leaders.  Already he has blessed us and we are continuing to receive money from people, even some Romanian students, to help under privileged kids get to camp.  It is amazing to see God working!
